A Disclaimer Regarding Changing Regulations Regarding Biomedical Device Consent

The Fraser Institute of Canada released devestating statistics about the obselescense of Canada's medical technology equipment, stating out of date and near out of date equipment may be causing undue delay in early medical accessibility and the chance for intervention. Thus it is time for the investigation of the efficacy of more rapid, cost effective, safe and non-invasive technology such as Bio-energetic sensor technology.   Despite this, HarmonizeYourHealth.com and its affiliate research QRPOD program is actively researching new equipment with more breadth and depth of mapping capacity that are more non-invasive, rapid, portable, safe and efficaceous.

Quantum Electro Dynamic Biofeedback (QEDBF) represents biofeedback with a safety loop, and was  pioneered by Maitreya as the QXCI, then EPFX and now the SCIO models as a Class II Medical Device, licenced for use in USA since 1989, along with Europe, South Africa, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia and Israel, as well as in Canada since July 2006.  QEDBF is deemed safe for use worldwide, with no reported morbidity or mortality events using the device. However, patients should also acknowledge that they have discussed with their Canadian Health Care Practitioner the fact that the scientific literature with respect to the efficacy and accuracy of the EPFX is such that some health practitioners unfamiliar with its use and capacity would consider it to be experimental in nature, and currently the College of Physicians and Surgeons does not support its use citing lack of effiacy studies.

HOW DOES IT WORK? The client or patient must consent to partake in the closest possible look at themselves on many levels through the 3 - dimensional gyroscopic sound map of their body. Then we use their own body's electric echo (evoked potential) as mapped from the biofeedback device, to reflect risk profiles and then retrain the physiology back to its centre or homeostasis point.  Centering the gyroscope makes it spin better, if you will.  Thus the body selects the self correcting course for itself through unconscious subtle electrical corrections and helps find the most individualized and natural solutions.

What does Biofeedback do?

1. Welcome to a integrated medicine and complementary therapy system of evaluation using a novel non-conventional stress relief computerized evaluation system operated by a Medical Doctor experienced in Quantum Biofeedback Techniques.
2. Please come well fed, well hydrated and in comfortable warm clothes and free of Jewelry, and avoid intoxication which lessens the results.
3. You will be required to read about your expected procedure called Eclosion scanning and then to complete a Biofeedback Consent Waiver before examination can begin. 4. Integrated Holistic Medical care may be different from what you expect with reductionistic allopathic medicine, and you will be encouraged to participate in self study, habit changes, dietary alterations, detoxification strategies, and ongoing self care, with an emphasis on lowering the use & risks of polypharmacy.
5. You are encouraged to continue an ongoing relationship with a family doctor for you health care, and to use our services for stress, pain and relaxation strategies to reduce the risks of disease and to promote prevention, awareness & responsibility.
6. Wherever possible, natural alternatives will be suggested to augment your care.
7. Typical blood work, cultures, x-rays, and other allopathic strategies may be used if, when and where necessary and will require an OHIP card or other health insurance coverage.  You will be notified and recalled only for abnormal results.
8. Clinical safety and efficacy studies have been done worldwide and confirm the EPFX is a safe device with no harmful morbidity or mortality events or other adverse effects reported worldwide on millions of interactions using QXCI, EPFX or SCIO. Nonetheless, the Eclosion scanner,  while deemed safe and known to be effective in stress detection and reduction therapy, as seen in 275,000 case studies described in the research project called Large SCIO Trial, is not to be legally used for "diagnosis".
9. The Quantum Electro Dynamic biofeedback and other biofeedback technology is used to measure stress and body physiology indicators, to assist in trend analysis and to measure normal or aberrant parameters to assist in stress detection and stress reduction. Thus the device may be considered to be experimental by some doctors unfamiliar with the device. 
10. Biomedical Class II medical devices like Quantum Electro Dynamic biofeedback and the cost of your sessions for Quantum Biofeedback is NOT covered the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), and must be paid at the outset of session in cash, debit, cheque or credit card.  Biofeedback Stress Invoices are available upon request for those with coverage for ICD code 308 for Stress Therapy, and some private plans may cover alternative medicine upon asking if Biofeedback for Unmanaged Stress is part of the private insurance benefits package. 
11. You should be aware that after Eclosion Quantum Biofeedback scanning with the electro-physiologic feedback Xrroid (EPFX) scanner, you may or may not feel fatigued, thirsty, tired, or hungry, and occasionally you may find a mild headache or increased excretion during detoxification of sweat, breath, colon, urine and skin. These reactions are considered normal detoxification reactions. Anything more significant can be brought to the attention of your health care practitioner.  While no such allergic reactions have ever been reported, go to the nearest medical emergency facility if you experience anaphylactic shock, unexpected or life threatening allergic reactions such as short of breath, chest pain, hives, neurological loss of function or feeling.
12. Most people take 90 hours to adjust to the subtle electrical changes, so you may feel nothing at first, but may later find subtle changes in mood, physiology, insight, stamina, energy and vitality.
13. The usual pattern of 90 minute visits should include a detailed intensive history, physical and quantum biofeedback exam on the first visit, followed by 4 weekly one hour Quantum Biofeedback visits, then 4 bimonthly or monthly visits in order to correct many of the human, pet or environmental parameters.  Seasonal detoxification sessions are encouraged to continue to keep the body steadily free of toxins.  Thereafter annual surveillance if suggested unless other interval issues. Intense issues may require custom programs.  Corporate wellness prevention programs are also available.
14. Please consider the importance of maintaining electrical grounding with mineralization through Spirulina algae use, which helps maintain nutrition and grounding between and during biofeedback sessions.  In addition, improve circulation with vitamin K rich Probiotic Acidophilus to ensure normal bowel flora and normal blood coagulation restoration.
15. Please notify staff of any issues, concerns, problems or unexpected symptoms or outcomes. I am aware that my Doctor _________ practises complementary and alternative medicine.  I have been advised by my Doctor that, when indicated, my Doctor may employ or recommend complementary or alternative tests or treatments. My Doctor has informed me that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario considers some complementary and alternative tests and treatments to be unproven.  In particular, if my Doctor concludes that I might benefit from the Quantum Electro Dynamic Biofeedback (QEDBF) using the Eclosion Scanner (EPFX  or SCIO device)  for the purposes of stress reduction, I acknowledge that my Doctor has explained to me that the scientific literature with respect to the efficacy and accuracy of the EPFX/SCIO is such that conventional health practitioners would not support the use of the machine. I acknowledge that my Doctor is prohibited from using the EPFX machine diagnostically. I acknowledge that my Doctor has explained to me that at the present time, the EPFX machine's license for sale, advertising and importing has been suspended by the importer by Health Canada because the manufacturer was unable to establish that it was effective for biofeedback use, evoked potential biofeedback and stress reduction. I acknowledge that my Doctor has further explained to me that Conventional Medicine does not support the use of the machine. Despite having received this advice, I consent to the use of the EPFX.

Quantum Biofeedback Procedure

 BIOFEEDBACK is the process of training the body and its unconscious systems to react differently in the future.  This retraining process is non-invasive, using bioresonances or frequency pitches to map and retune areas of electrical stress in the body’s electro-magnetic field with high accuracy, speed and safety.   Initial consultations take longer (90-120 minute or more) due to history, physical and biofeedback first exam.  Then follow up sessions usually last one hour, must be separated by a minimum of three days, and generally follow a schedule of approximately once per week to once per month. Come rested, well fed, well hydrated, and well mineralized to maximize the benefits of treatment.

 Steps in the Biofeedback Process:

1. Registration: Provide Registration Data, Demographics in Eclosion Scanner & CPP
2. History: Complete History and Stress Survey (SOC Form).
3. Sign Consent for Biofeedback and /or photos ( SEE Waiver on Reverse Page) and/or Research Consent for Case Study
4. Physical Exam of Vital Signs, Physical exam relevant to problem 
5. Assessment Tools: (optional, as required) pH saliva or urine, Labs 
6.  Attach Biofeedback Harness: Relax while you’re attached to electro-conductive rubber straps via a painless (needle less) non-invasive harness to all limbs and forehead.  Additional point probes can be attached for specific area emphasis, such as dental probe, skin roller or probe, pet pad, children’s pad, or use Virtual Mode for Pacemaker Users, locations, inanimate objects  or long distance remote sessions.
7. Calibrate The Eclosion scanner.  A test signal of sugar and water are sent electronically to first Calibrate the Eclosion device to you , typically requiring only 1 minute to adjust for volume and ensure over 85 % loud and clear transmission of signal before commencing.
8. Eclosion Test Mode: 10,000 Bioresonances or “sound checks” are tested via the harness to make an electrical imprint of your body, mind, emotions, nutrition, toxins etc. Sit still without talking or crossing limbs, keeping eyes opened and mind consenting for 5 minutes during the testing phase.
9. Reporting: Data will be gathered from probability calculators and health menus, assessing you body’s top choices for therapy from your own unconscious priority list. 
10. Stress Therapies: For the remainder of the session, out of 2600 choices of appropriate recommended biofeedback modules, your personal issues will attempt to be corrected through bioelectric field enhancement, and sessions may require repetition to entrench new healthy habits of physiology. 
11. Treatment Plans: If necessary, a treatment plan will be devised for future. Therapy sessions will be applied weekly or monthly, which take approximately one hour.
12. Discharge Instructions: Helpful hints, dietary and dental suggestions, written materials, remedy suggestions or even prescriptions if required may be used.
13. Follow up will be recommended for an integrated holistic approach to help you overcome illness and reach peak immune status and vitality.  You are responsible for your health.
